Taiji School

I come from Singapore, where I had my first encounters with Taiji.
Since 2001 I have been working intensively with the Yang Taijiquan.

My teacher training is accredited by the German Umbrella Association for Qigong and Taijiquan (DDQT). It included both Taiji and Qigong, which are closely related. I am a member of the American The Qigong Institute and can of course teach Taiji in the English language.

Based on scientific findings, Taiji is recognized by the health authorities of various countries as having therapeutic value. I would like to bring Taiji in line with the requirements of modern times and thus promote the understanding of how a millennia-old Chinese tradition can be transferred to modern times and still provide deep relaxation.

What is Taiji?

Taiji is an ancient Chinese cultural heritage with the characteristics of a healing gymnastics as well as meditation and self-defense. The flowing movements are performed harmoniously in harmony with the breath, without any effort. The body-oriented movement improves the entire circulation and thus sharpens the senses. Taiji exercises are suitable for all ages.
The emphasis is on holistic health, combining body and mind to achieve balance. Through Taiji, one learns to relax and learns a lot about oneself. One builds the power of concentration and endurance and becomes inwardly calmer and more balanced.

Taiji is a practical philosophy of life.
All you need to integrate the exercises into your life is a little space and time.

Since October 2018, our guests can enjoy an introduction to Zen Yoga free of charge. Every Friday from 09.30 – 10.30 a.m. Axel Zeman and Oliver Sirtl dive together with you into the Zen teachings and let your flood of thoughts come to rest. Relax your soul and your mind.
